How We Picked
- Screen size and clarity: compared display dimensions and pixel density to separate pocket reading from comics, books, and documents.
- Reading format: considered black-and-white versus color screens, front lighting, and page-turn controls where available.
- Everyday flexibility: reviewed Android version, app support, storage capacity, and memory specifications.
- Portability and productivity: weighed device size and weight against note-taking, annotation, and document-reading needs.
- Value fit: selected models for distinct use cases instead of assuming one device is right for every reader.

Which is better, BOOX Go or BOOX Palma?
BOOX Palma 2 128GB is better for pocket reading, while BOOX Go 10.3 64GB is better for notes and large documents. The decisive difference is screen size: the Palma 2 has a 6.13-inch display, and the Go 10.3 has a 10.3-inch display.
BOOX Go models cover more than one use case. BOOX Go 6 32GB and BOOX Go 7 64GB serve traditional e-reader needs, while BOOX Go Color 7 Gen II 64GB adds color for illustrated content. Choose the Palma family when a phone-like device is the priority; choose the Go family when screen format or note-taking is the priority.
Which BOOX Palma should you choose?
BOOX Palma 2 128GB is the best Palma choice for most readers who value newer software, with Android 13 and a 6.13-inch, 300-PPI screen. BOOX Palma 128GB remains a compact option for readers who want the Palma shape and generous built-in storage.
Both models prioritize books, articles, and reading apps over full-page documents. The narrow display is convenient for carrying and one-handed reading, but PDFs with small text call for frequent zooming or a larger screen. Skip it if your main goal is handwriting or reading large-format material; BOOX Go 10.3 64GB fits those jobs better.
Which BOOX Go is best for reading books?
BOOX Go 7 64GB is the strongest all-purpose book reader in the Go range, with a 7-inch, 300-PPI screen and physical page-turn buttons. The larger panel gives paragraphs more space than the 6-inch BOOX Go 6 32GB without stepping up to a tablet-size device.
BOOX Go 6 32GB suits readers who value a small body and mostly read text. BOOX Go Color 7 Gen II 64GB is a better match for comics, charts, and illustrated books because it displays color. Color resolution is 150 PPI, compared with 300 PPI for black-and-white content, so text-focused readers should weigh color against maximum sharpness.
Which BOOX model is best for PDFs and handwritten notes?
BOOX Go 10.3 64GB is the best fit for PDFs and handwritten notes, with a 10.3-inch, 300-PPI display. The larger surface reduces the need to zoom and gives annotations more room than a 6-inch or 7-inch reader.
The Go 10.3 is a monochrome device and has no front light, so a well-lit reading setup matters. A compact Palma or 7-inch Go remains easier to carry for novels and short articles, but neither provides the same working area for a full-page document. Choose the large screen when productivity matters more than pocket portability.
What should you look for in a BOOX Black Friday 2026 offer?
BOOX Go and BOOX Palma models are best compared by screen, storage, and intended use rather than by the largest headline offer. A 6.13-inch Palma is a portable reader, a 7-inch Go is a balanced book device, and a 10.3-inch Go is a document and note-taking tool.
Check the exact model name before choosing: BOOX Go Color 7 64GB and BOOX Go Color 7 Gen II 64GB are distinct products. Confirm the listed storage and color-screen details, then compare the device with your reading habits. A lower-cost small reader is poor value if the primary task is annotating full-size PDFs.
Buying Guide
Choose the screen size around your main content
BOOX Palma 2 128GB suits novels and articles on its 6.13-inch screen. BOOX Go 7 64GB gives books more room at 7 inches, while BOOX Go 10.3 64GB is the practical pick for full-page PDFs and notes. Match the display to what you read most often.

Compare storage with your library
BOOX Palma 2 128GB offers the largest internal capacity among these picks. BOOX Go 7 64GB and BOOX Go 10.3 64GB provide a middle ground, while BOOX Go 6 32GB is aimed at readers with a smaller local collection. Include audiobooks and large files in your estimate.
Think about portability and controls
BOOX Palma 128GB and BOOX Palma 2 128GB have phone-like bodies suited to carrying in a pocket or small bag. BOOX Go 7 64GB adds page-turn buttons, and BOOX Go 10.3 64GB trades portability for space to write. Prioritize the feature used every day.
Check lighting and accessories before ordering
BOOX Go 10.3 64GB has no front light, so room lighting is part of the buying decision. For models that support note-taking, confirm stylus and case compatibility with the exact product listing. Review return terms and included accessories before completing a Black Friday 2026 purchase.
