Which is better, Samsung Galaxy S23 FE or Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra?

Samsung Galaxy S23 FE and Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra differ most in 3 areas: size, camera hardware, and S Pen support. Samsung Galaxy S23 FE has a 6.4-inch display, a 50MP main camera, and a more manageable body. Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra has a 6.8-inch QHD+ display, a 108MP main camera, and a built-in S Pen.

Choose Samsung Galaxy S23 FE for everyday value and easier handling. Choose Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra for a large screen, stylus notes, and a higher-resolution main camera. Both offer 120Hz displays and 5G, so the decision rests on the features you use most. Storage matters too: the listed Samsung Galaxy S23 FE configuration has 128GB, while this Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra configuration has 256GB.

Which phone has the better camera for photos and zoom?

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra has the stronger headline camera specification, with a 108MP main camera and a multi-camera rear system. Samsung Galaxy S23 FE has a 50MP main camera and separate telephoto and ultrawide cameras, giving shoppers useful framing options for daily photos.

Megapixel counts do not tell the whole story, but the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra has more high-resolution hardware and additional long-range zoom capabilities. Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra raises the main-camera specification to 200MP for shoppers who want a more premium option. For casual snapshots and social sharing, Samsung Galaxy S23 FE offers a versatile camera setup without requiring an Ultra-sized phone.

Which Samsung phone is easier to carry and use one-handed?

Samsung Galaxy S23 128GB Unlocked is the easiest phone in this lineup to carry, with a 6.1-inch display and compact body. Samsung Galaxy S23 FE follows with a 6.4-inch screen, while Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra uses a much larger 6.8-inch display.

A bigger screen helps with video, maps, and reading, but also takes up more pocket space. Shoppers who want a spacious view without the largest Ultra format can consider Samsung Galaxy S23+ or Samsung Galaxy S24 FE, both with 6.6-inch-class or larger screens. Handle preference matters: compare the dimensions and weight on the seller listing before choosing a model for small hands or frequent one-handed use.

How should shoppers compare Samsung phone battery life?

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, and Samsung Galaxy A35 5G each list a 5,000mAh battery, while Samsung Galaxy S23 FE lists 4,500mAh. Battery capacity is a useful comparison point, not a guarantee of identical runtime.

Screen brightness, network conditions, camera use, and background apps all affect how long a phone runs between charges. Samsung Galaxy S23 has a 3,900mAh battery in a smaller body, while Samsung Galaxy S24 FE and Samsung Galaxy S23+ list 4,700mAh capacities. Shoppers who spend long days away from a charger should weigh battery capacity alongside screen size, charging habits, and owner feedback.

What should I check before buying a Samsung phone on Black Friday 2026?

Black Friday 2026 shoppers should verify the exact model, storage size, carrier compatibility, and return terms before ordering a Samsung phone. Listings can differ by network status, included accessories, and whether the device is new, refurbished, or renewed.

Check that the listing names the full model and storage configuration you want, such as Samsung Galaxy S23 FE 128GB Unlocked or Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 256GB Unlocked. Confirm compatibility with your carrier and review the seller’s warranty and return policy. Compare the phone’s features against your own priorities rather than choosing by camera megapixels alone. A clear fit beats paying for features that stay unused.

Buying Guide

Choose your ideal screen size

Pick a 6.1-inch model such as Samsung Galaxy S23 for compact handling. Select Samsung Galaxy S23 FE for a 6.4-inch middle ground, or Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra for a 6.8-inch QHD+ screen. Larger panels suit video and reading; compact phones fit smaller pockets more easily.

Match camera hardware to how you shoot

Samsung Galaxy S23 FE has a 50MP main camera and multiple rear lenses for versatile everyday framing. Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra adds a 108MP main camera and long-range zoom options. Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra leads this shortlist with a 200MP main camera.

Select enough storage

Choose 128GB for lighter app use and regular cloud backups. Consider 256GB for larger photo libraries, downloaded media, and games. Compare the exact listing configuration: storage capacity can change between versions of the same Samsung phone.

Check unlocked status and seller terms

Confirm the phone supports your carrier’s network and that the listing explicitly states unlocked status when you want carrier flexibility. Review device condition, warranty coverage, accessories, and return window before checkout. Keep the listing details with your order confirmation.
