Which is better, XREAL One or Rokid Max?
XREAL One AR Glasses are the better fit for built-in spatial features, while Rokid Max AR Glasses are the stronger match for adjustable focus; both offer 1080p resolution per eye and refresh rates up to 120Hz. The difference is less about basic sharpness and more about how you want to use the glasses.
XREAL One AR Glasses include an X1 chip and 3DoF spatial viewing, which makes them a more self-contained choice for a fixed virtual screen. Rokid Max AR Glasses include diopter adjustment, a practical benefit for viewers who want to tune focus. Compare comfort, prescription needs and supported devices before choosing. Best bet: pick the feature you’ll use most often.
What should I know about Black Friday 2026 AR glasses deals?
XREAL One AR Glasses and Rokid Max AR Glasses are worth comparing for Black Friday 2026 because both combine 1080p-per-eye displays with 120Hz support. Start with the exact product model, then check whether the listing includes the cables, adapters or companion device your setup requires.
A lower-priced older model is not automatically the better value if you want spatial features or electronic tint adjustment. Compare return terms, warranty coverage and seller details alongside the specifications. For a straightforward choice, XREAL Air 2 AR Glasses cover essential viewing; for built-in spatial capability, XREAL One AR Glasses have the clearer feature advantage.
Are XREAL glasses compatible with phones and consoles?
XREAL One AR Glasses connect to compatible devices over USB-C, but compatibility depends on the device’s video output and the connection method. Phones, computers and gaming devices do not all support video over USB-C, so check the manufacturer’s compatibility information before ordering.
XREAL Beam Pro 256GB adds a dedicated companion device for compatible XREAL glasses, with 2 USB-C ports and 256GB storage. The companion device is a separate purchase from the glasses. Review the product listing for included adapters and cables, especially when connecting a console that uses HDMI rather than USB-C video output.
Do Rokid Max AR Glasses need a separate prescription lens?
Rokid Max AR Glasses include adjustable diopters for supported prescription ranges, so some viewers can focus the display without prescription inserts. The built-in adjustment is a notable distinction in the XREAL One vs Rokid Max comparison and offers a convenient starting point for glasses wearers.
Check the exact adjustment range and your prescription before buying. Viewers outside the supported range, or those who need astigmatism correction, should confirm Rokid’s guidance about prescription inserts. Comfort also depends on frame fit and how the glasses sit, so review return policies if fit is a concern.
Which AR glasses are best for travel?
XREAL Air 2 AR Glasses are a practical travel pick for personal viewing, with a 46-degree field of view and a 120Hz maximum refresh rate. Rokid Max AR Glasses are another strong option for commuters who value adjustable focus and a 50-degree field of view.
Travel shoppers should consider the whole kit: glasses, connection cable, compatible phone or companion device, and a protective case. A phone that lacks USB-C video output requires a different connection solution. Compact glasses can make films and games feel more private, but they still need a suitable power and video source.
