Sony Horizon Call of the Mountain and Mighty Coconut Walkabout Mini Golf deliver two very different VR experiences: one is a cinematic PS VR2 adventure, while the other is a social mini-golf game for multiple VR platforms. I researched and compared specs, reviews and owner feedback to make the platform choice clear before Black Friday 2026.

Here's the bottom line: choose Sony Horizon Call of the Mountain for a focused, single-player journey with climbing and archery. Pick Mighty Coconut Walkabout Mini Golf for relaxed rounds with friends, online multiplayer for up to 8 players and a game that works across standalone Meta Quest and PS VR2. The headset and console you already own should guide the decision.

How We Picked

• Platform compatibility: we separated PS VR2 exclusives from Meta Quest versions and checked the console or headset each pick requires.
• Play style: we compared solo adventure, local use and online multiplayer to match products with different gaming habits.
• Core specifications: we used manufacturer specifications for display resolution, storage, refresh rate and player counts.
• Owner feedback: we considered recurring comments about comfort, accessibility, replay value and setup.
• Black Friday usefulness: we prioritized products that make a clear standalone pick or complete the hardware needed to play.
