As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.

The HP EliteBook 840 G11 and Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 5 are 14-inch business laptops with Intel Core Ultra processor options, practical security features and configurations for everyday office work. For Black Friday 2026, the better choice comes down to the exact listing: screen, memory, storage, processor and warranty can differ even when the model name looks the same.

I researched and compared specs, reviews and owner feedback to build a shortlist for buyers weighing the two laptops against other work-ready options. My pick for most people is the Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 5 when memory upgrades and a familiar keyboard matter; the HP EliteBook 840 G11 is a compelling alternative for buyers who prefer HP’s business features and finish.
