Which is better, AOC AGON or ViewSonic ELITE?
AOC AGON and ViewSonic ELITE both offer gaming monitors with refresh rates from 165Hz to 540Hz in this guide, so the better brand depends on your preferred screen and panel. AOC AGON has a 540Hz esports option and a 45-inch OLED ultrawide. ViewSonic ELITE includes a Mini LED ultrawide and a 27-inch QHD IPS display.
For most players, compare models rather than choosing by brand alone. The AOC AGON PRO AG276QZD2 27-inch QHD QD-OLED Gaming Monitor and ViewSonic ELITE XG272-2K-OLED 27-inch QHD OLED Gaming Monitor both offer 240Hz QHD OLED play. Pick the screen size and features that suit your desk, PC and games.
Which AOC AGON and ViewSonic ELITE monitors have OLED panels?
Four monitors in this guide use OLED panels and offer refresh rates of 240Hz: three AOC AGON models and one ViewSonic ELITE model. The AOC AGON PRO AG276QZD2 27-inch QHD QD-OLED Gaming Monitor uses QD-OLED, while the AOC AGON PRO AG276QZD 27-inch QHD OLED Gaming Monitor uses OLED.
For a ViewSonic option, the ViewSonic ELITE XG272-2K-OLED 27-inch QHD OLED Gaming Monitor combines a 27-inch size with QHD resolution. The AOC AGON PRO AG456UCZD 45-inch OLED Ultrawide Gaming Monitor is the large-screen pick. OLED suits players who value contrast, but its care features are worth checking for static desktop use.
What refresh rate is best for a gaming monitor?
A 240Hz refresh rate is a versatile target for many gaming PCs, while the AOC AGON PRO AG246FK 24.1-inch FHD 540Hz Gaming Monitor serves players chasing exceptionally high frame rates. Higher refresh rates are most useful when a computer can produce enough frames to take advantage of them.
The ViewSonic ELITE XG341C-2K 34-inch Mini LED Ultrawide Gaming Monitor runs at 165Hz, a strong match for immersive games and wide-screen use. The AOC AGON PRO AG276QZD2 27-inch QHD QD-OLED Gaming Monitor offers 240Hz with QHD detail. Choose based on both your game type and graphics hardware.
Should I choose QHD, Full HD or ultrawide?
The AOC AGON PRO AG276QZD2 27-inch QHD QD-OLED Gaming Monitor has 2560 × 1440 resolution, while the AOC AGON PRO AG246FK 24.1-inch FHD 540Hz Gaming Monitor has 1920 × 1080. QHD offers more image detail; Full HD places less demand on a gaming PC.
Ultrawide options, including the ViewSonic ELITE XG341C-2K 34-inch Mini LED Ultrawide Gaming Monitor and AOC AGON PRO AG456UCZD 45-inch OLED Ultrawide Gaming Monitor, provide more horizontal screen area. Check desk width and game support before buying. A standard 27-inch monitor is the simpler fit for a typical desktop setup.
How do I choose an AOC AGON or ViewSonic ELITE monitor for Black Friday?
AOC AGON and ViewSonic ELITE buyers should compare the exact model’s resolution, panel and refresh rate before choosing a Black Friday 2026 monitor. Check that the monitor’s maximum resolution and refresh rate suit the PC, graphics card and games you own.
Consider desk space, too: the AOC AGON PRO AG456UCZD 45-inch OLED Ultrawide Gaming Monitor needs a very different setup from the 24.1-inch AOC AGON PRO AG246FK 24.1-inch FHD 540Hz Gaming Monitor. Skip it if the screen size, panel or resolution does not match your everyday use. Compare included ports and stand adjustments as well.
Buying Guide
Set a screen-size limit
Measure desk width and viewing distance before choosing. The AOC AGON PRO AG456UCZD 45-inch OLED Ultrawide Gaming Monitor needs more room than a 27-inch QHD display, while the 24.1-inch AOC AGON PRO AG246FK 24.1-inch FHD 540Hz Gaming Monitor suits a compact space.
Match resolution to your PC
QHD gives a detailed middle ground; Full HD supports very high frame rates on less demanding hardware. Ultrawide models need graphics performance suited to their 3440 × 1440 resolution.
Choose the panel for your priorities
OLED suits players who prioritize contrast, IPS fits mixed gaming and desktop use, and Mini LED offers a bright HDR-oriented option. Review each model’s care guidance and display features before buying.
Buy the refresh rate you can use
A 540Hz monitor is aimed at competitive play and high frame rates. A 165Hz or 240Hz screen offers a more versatile balance for many setups. Confirm your computer supports the resolution and refresh rate you want.
