Which Black Friday racing game deal is best overall?
The Xbox Game Studios Forza Horizon 5 Standard Edition is our best overall racing game pick for 2026, with more than 500 cars and 11 biomes. The open-world format makes it easy to jump between road races, stunts, off-road events, and exploration. Players who enjoy collecting vehicles get a steady stream of new goals.
For a more structured experience, the Sony Interactive Entertainment Gran Turismo 7 Standard Edition is the stronger choice for circuit practice and detailed tuning. The Nintendo Mario Kart 8 Deluxe works better for casual multiplayer, while the Electronic Arts F1 25 Standard Edition focuses on Formula competition. Match the game to your preferred pace before choosing a deal.
Which racing game deal is best for PlayStation?
PlayStation racers have four clear picks in 2026: Sony Interactive Entertainment Gran Turismo 7 Standard Edition, Electronic Arts F1 25 Standard Edition, 505 Games Assetto Corsa Competizione Standard Edition, and a compatible Logitech or Thrustmaster wheel. Each serves a different driver, from car collectors to GT simulation fans.
Choose Gran Turismo 7 for a broad garage and measured progression. Pick F1 25 for official Formula-style competition and a 24-circuit calendar. Assetto Corsa Competizione centers on GT racing and asks for more practice. A wheel adds immersion, but confirm the exact console version and connection support before checkout.
Which racing games are best for families and multiplayer?
The Nintendo Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is the easiest family racing pick, with up to 4 local racers and 48 courses in the base game. Colorful tracks and straightforward controls help newcomers join quickly, while items keep every race unpredictable. Nintendo Switch owners can use the game for quick sessions or a full party night.
For players who want more realistic cars, the Xbox Game Studios Forza Horizon 5 Standard Edition supports convoys of up to 12 players. The Sony Interactive Entertainment Gran Turismo 7 Standard Edition supports online lobbies of up to 20 players. Check online access requirements and the edition listing when comparing multiplayer options.
Are racing wheels worth adding to a Black Friday setup?
The Logitech G923 Racing Wheel and Pedals for PlayStation and PC and the Thrustmaster T248 Racing Wheel and Magnetic Pedal Set for PS5, PS4, and PC both offer 900-degree rotation. A wheel and pedals provide finer steering input than a standard controller and suit games built around braking, cornering, and car control.
A wheel makes the most sense for regular sim or circuit racers with a stable desk or stand. The Logitech model includes three pedals and dual-motor force feedback. The Thrustmaster model adds magnetic pedals and 25 action buttons. Casual players who mostly race in short bursts can stick with a controller and put their budget toward another game.
What should shoppers check before buying a racing game deal?
Shoppers should confirm platform, edition, and multiplayer requirements before buying any 2026 racing game deal. A PlayStation version does not automatically work on Xbox or Nintendo Switch, and wheel compatibility also varies by console. Read the product title and included-content details carefully, especially when choosing a standard edition.
Next, match the racing style to the player. Open-world games emphasize exploration, kart racers focus on accessible competition, and simulators reward practice. Review local-player counts if the game is for a group. For wheel bundles, check the pedal set, rotation range, connection type, and the space needed to mount the hardware.
Buying Guide
Start with your platform
Check the exact system first: PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, or PC. Game editions and wheel versions are not interchangeable across every platform. Read the full product name and compatibility details before adding an item to your cart.
Choose your racing style
Open-world racers suit exploration and car collecting. Circuit games reward braking, tuning, and repeat practice. Kart games make group play simple. A clear match between play style and game genre matters more than a long feature list.
Compare edition contents
Check whether the listing is a standard, deluxe, or bundle edition. Confirm included tracks, cars, DLC, and any physical extras in the description. A larger edition suits completionists; the standard version keeps the focus on the core game.
Check wheel fit and setup space
Confirm the wheel works with your console or PC, then check pedals, rotation, and force feedback. Measure desk or stand space before choosing hardware. A wheel is most useful when it stays securely mounted and is comfortable to use.
