How We Picked
- Compared platform availability across Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
- Prioritized the differences that change the experience: camera perspective, survival loop, crafting, exploration, and group size.
- Reviewed publisher specifications, player feedback, and available edition information without treating platform versions as interchangeable.
- Selected options for distinct needs, including solo play, larger online groups, portable play, and players already invested in a console ecosystem.
- Used clear player-count and age-rating details where available, and left Amazon ASINs blank when a matching listing can not be identified with confidence.
