The Corsair K70 PRO RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard with CHERRY MX Red Switches combines linear mechanical switches, a 104-key layout and AXON 8,000Hz hyper-polling for PC gaming. CHERRY MX Red switches move smoothly without a tactile bump, a feel many players prefer for repeated movement inputs and quick key presses. The full-size format keeps the number pad and dedicated media controls within reach.
Per-key RGB lighting gives the Corsair K70 PRO RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard with CHERRY MX Red Switches room for game-specific effects and a coordinated desk setup. The keyboard also has onboard storage for profiles, so saved settings travel with the board. A detachable magnetic palm rest adds support during longer sessions. Overall, the feature set targets players who want a traditional wired board with gaming-focused performance and customization.
How does the Corsair K70 PRO RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard with CHERRY MX Red Switches feel for typing?
The Corsair K70 PRO RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard with CHERRY MX Red Switches uses linear CHERRY MX Red switches, a 104-key layout and double-shot PBT keycaps. Linear switches provide a consistent press without a click or tactile bump, which suits players who favor smooth, repeated key travel. Typing preference is personal, so the Red switch feel is worth considering before purchase.
Double-shot PBT keycaps are built for durable legends, while the full-size layout offers a familiar arrangement for work, gaming and number entry. The Corsair K70 PRO RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard with CHERRY MX Red Switches includes a detachable magnetic palm rest for added wrist support. Its standard full-size footprint needs more desk space than a tenkeyless board, so measure the available area and account for mouse movement.
What features can you customize on the Corsair K70 PRO RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard with CHERRY MX Red Switches?
The Corsair K70 PRO RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard with CHERRY MX Red Switches offers per-key RGB lighting, onboard profile storage and software-based configuration. Players can tailor lighting effects and create saved settings for different games or tasks. AXON processing supports the keyboard's 8,000Hz hyper-polling feature, while dedicated media controls make common audio adjustments easy to reach. The Corsair K70 PRO RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard with CHERRY MX Red Switches connects by USB, so setup is straightforward on a compatible PC but does require a cable. Check software and operating-system compatibility if profile editing is central to your setup.
Does the Corsair K70 PRO RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard with CHERRY MX Red Switches need a lot of desk space?
The Corsair K70 PRO RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard with CHERRY MX Red Switches uses a 104-key full-size layout, so reserve space for the main keys, number pad and palm rest. The extended layout is convenient for number entry and keeps dedicated controls close, but it takes up more horizontal desk room than compact boards.
Before buying, measure the space between the monitor stand and mouse area, then consider where the cable will run. The Corsair K70 PRO RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard with CHERRY MX Red Switches is a natural match for a fixed desktop setup with room for a broad keyboard. Players who move their keyboard frequently or want maximum mouse clearance should weigh the full-size footprint against their desk layout.
