Which game is better for Black Friday 2026: EA SPORTS FC 24 or Dirt Rally 2.0?
EA SPORTS FC 24 and Dirt Rally 2.0 are best for 2 very different gaming moods: football matches or focused rally driving. EA SPORTS FC 24 makes sense for players who want squads, leagues and several modes in one package. Dirt Rally 2.0 suits drivers who enjoy learning demanding routes and managing car control.
Choose the game that matches your usual play session, not just the one with the larger feature list. EA SPORTS FC 24 works well for quick matches and shared play; Dirt Rally 2.0 rewards repeat attempts and careful driving. Worth it for most players: the game that fits your preferred genre and current platform.
What are the main differences between EA SPORTS FC 24 and Dirt Rally 2.0?
EA SPORTS FC 24 centers on football, while Dirt Rally 2.0 centers on rally and rallycross driving across 13 locations. EA SPORTS FC 24 offers a player roster of more than 19,000 and modes such as Career and Ultimate Team. Dirt Rally 2.0 focuses on cars, stage routes and precision.
The games also ask for different kinds of practice. Football players learn passing, positioning and squad choices; rally drivers learn braking, steering and pace. Pick EA SPORTS FC 24 for team competition and varied match formats. Pick Dirt Rally 2.0 for a driving challenge where each stage puts control and consistency first.
Which platforms should you check before choosing an edition?
The EA SPORTS FC 24 Standard Edition for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch covers 3 different console choices in this guide. Dirt Rally 2.0 options here cover PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, so the game title alone is not enough to confirm a match for your setup.
Read the complete edition name before buying and check your console generation, disc drive and account storefront. PC players should also compare system requirements with their hardware. For accessories, confirm the exact platform version: the Logitech G923 listed here supports PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC, not every console family.
Is Dirt Rally 2.0 better with a racing wheel?
Dirt Rally 2.0 supports a more immersive driving setup with compatible wheels, and the Logitech G923 adds 900-degree rotation plus 3 pedals. A gamepad remains a practical choice for casual sessions, but steering hardware gives drivers a dedicated wheel and separate pedal controls.
A wheel makes the most sense for players who enjoy repeating stages and refining their driving inputs. Check the game’s hardware compatibility and the wheel’s console variant before choosing. The Logitech G923 is a premium add-on rather than a requirement; choose it when a wheel-based driving setup is part of the plan.
What should buyers compare before choosing a Black Friday game?
Buyers should compare 3 essentials before choosing: platform compatibility, preferred genre and edition content. EA SPORTS FC 24 is the football pick across multiple console editions, while Dirt Rally 2.0 is the rally pick with console and PC options in this guide.
Next, decide whether extra content or portability matters. The Dirt Rally 2.0 Game of the Year Edition for PlayStation 4 bundles additional content, and the Nintendo Switch edition of EA SPORTS FC 24 supports handheld play. Match the product to the setup you own, then compare the listed edition details before checkout.
Buying Guide
Start with your platform
Match the full product name to the console or computer you own. EA SPORTS FC 24 Standard Edition for Nintendo Switch is the portable option in this guide; Dirt Rally 2.0 Standard Edition for PC is the computer option. Confirm the edition and platform before ordering.
Pick your preferred genre
Choose EA SPORTS FC 24 for football matches, team building and career play. Choose Dirt Rally 2.0 for rally stages, car control and repeatable driving challenges. Genre fit matters more than adding features you will not use.
Compare editions carefully
The Dirt Rally 2.0 Game of the Year Edition for PlayStation 4 includes additional content, while the standard editions keep the choice simple. Check the named edition and included content on the listing so you know which version you are selecting.
Decide whether you want a wheel
The Logitech G923 Racing Wheel and Pedals adds 900-degree rotation and 3 pedals for supported setups. Check platform compatibility and available space before adding a wheel. A controller remains a straightforward way to play without extra equipment.
Consider who will play
EA SPORTS FC 24 supports local multiplayer for shared matches, while Dirt Rally 2.0 centers on individual driving challenges. Think about whether your sessions are social or focused solo runs, then choose the game that suits those habits.
