- Compare brightness, weather protection, smart-TV features and installation requirements before making a Black Friday 2026 purchase.
Furrion Aurora and Peerless-AV Neptune are outdoor TV lines built for different levels of daylight, weather exposure and installation needs. The right choice depends less on the badge and more on whether the screen will sit in full shade, partial sun or direct sunlight. For a useful comparison, start with the location, then consider screen size, picture brightness, weather protection and smart-TV features.
For this Black Friday 2026 guide, I researched and compared specs, reviews and owner feedback across both brands. Furrion’s Aurora lineup is a straightforward way to compare shade-specific models, while Peerless-AV’s Neptune range offers its own options for outdoor viewing environments. My pick for most people is a 55-inch model rated for the exact sun exposure at the mounting spot—not a larger or brighter TV chosen without checking the conditions.
How We Picked
- Compared the intended exposure category—full shade, partial sun or full sun—rather than treating all outdoor TVs as interchangeable.
- Reviewed published screen-size, resolution, brightness and enclosure information for each product line.
- Considered owner feedback and recurring practical concerns, including mounting, glare, sound and outdoor installation.
- Prioritized products with a clear use case so readers can compare similar screen sizes across the two brands.
- Focused on Black Friday 2026 purchase decisions without relying on temporary pricing or discount claims.
