Which phone is better: Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 or Samsung Galaxy S23 FE?
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 256GB Unlocked is better for multitasking on its 7.6-inch inner display, while the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE 128GB Unlocked is better for shoppers who want a conventional 6.4-inch phone. The choice comes down to screen format, not simply a higher or lower model number.
Choose the Fold5 if you read documents, use two apps side by side or watch video on a larger screen. Choose the S23 FE if a standard screen, familiar shape and straightforward daily handling matter more. Both have 50MP main cameras, so the form factor is the clearest distinction for most shoppers.
Is a foldable phone worth choosing for Black Friday 2026?
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 256GB Unlocked and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6 256GB Unlocked are the two foldable picks here, with 7.6-inch and 6.7-inch main screens. Foldables offer a distinct shape and flexible screen use, but shoppers should weigh those advantages against durability care and bulk.
The Fold5 opens like a book to expand its workspace, while the Flip6 folds down to a compact form. A standard phone such as the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE 128GB Unlocked avoids a hinge altogether. Think about how often you will use the folding design before placing it ahead of a simpler handset.
Which Samsung phone has the best screen for video and reading?
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 256GB Unlocked has the largest listed usable screen at 7.6 inches when open, while the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra 256GB Unlocked offers a flat 6.8-inch display. Screen size helps with reading and video, but a larger body takes up more space in a pocket.
For a large non-folding screen, compare the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE 128GB Unlocked at 6.7 inches and Samsung Galaxy A35 5G 128GB Unlocked at 6.6 inches. Shoppers who prefer smaller phones can look at the 6.2-inch Samsung Galaxy S24 128GB Unlocked or 6.4-inch Samsung Galaxy S23 FE 128GB Unlocked.
Which Samsung phone is best for camera and battery priorities?
The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra 256GB Unlocked has the highest main-camera resolution in this guide at 200MP, and the Samsung Galaxy A35 5G 128GB Unlocked has the largest listed battery at 5000mAh. Those specifications offer an easy starting point for shoppers focused on photos or battery capacity.
A higher camera resolution does not tell the whole story about photo quality, so consider reviews and the kinds of photos you take. Battery life also depends on settings and use. For a balanced camera and battery combination, compare the 50MP main cameras and capacities listed for the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE and Samsung Galaxy S24 FE.
What should shoppers compare before buying a Samsung phone?
The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE 128GB Unlocked, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 256GB Unlocked and six alternatives differ most in screen format, storage, battery capacity and camera setup. A quick comparison of those details helps narrow the field before you review Black Friday 2026 offers.
Confirm that an unlocked model supports your carrier, and check the exact storage and color listed by the retailer. Review return terms and warranty coverage, especially for a foldable. Compare the total feature set rather than choosing only by a headline specification or the phone’s product name.
Buying Guide
Pick the screen shape first
Choose the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 256GB Unlocked for an inner 7.6-inch screen, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6 256GB Unlocked for a folding compact design, or a standard Galaxy phone for a familiar flat display. Form factor changes daily handling.
Match display size to your routine
A 6.2-inch Samsung Galaxy S24 128GB Unlocked suits shoppers who value a smaller phone. A 6.7-inch Samsung Galaxy S24 FE 128GB Unlocked gives more room for video and reading without a hinge.
Check camera and battery specifications
The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra 256GB Unlocked lists a 200MP main camera. The Samsung Galaxy A35 5G 128GB Unlocked lists a 5000mAh battery. Compare both specifications with your actual priorities rather than treating either number as a complete measure of performance.
Verify storage and carrier support
Check that the exact unlocked Samsung model works with your carrier and offers enough storage for your apps, photos and video. Compare the listed configuration and return policy before completing a Black Friday 2026 purchase.
