The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition and Fallout 76 serve 2 different RPG moods: solo fantasy adventure and online post-apocalyptic exploration. I researched and compared specs, reviews and owner feedback to make the Black Friday 2026 choice straightforward. Skyrim is the easy match for players who want a long single-player journey, while Fallout 76 is built around a persistent online world and group play.
The best pick depends on how you play and which system you own. Skyrim Anniversary Edition bundles the base adventure with 3 major expansions and additional Creation Club content. Fallout 76 focuses on multiplayer exploration, quests, and regular online activities. The guide below compares platform versions, explains who each game suits, and highlights what to check before buying. Here's the bottom line: choose the game first, then match the edition to your console or PC.

- Reviewed edition contents, including Skyrim’s 3 major expansions and Fallout 76’s online format.
